Commission for Agriculture Development

This commission concentrates its function in creating awareness in the children, youth and others the need to foster a culture of sustainable agriculture. It conducts awareness programmes, guidance and consultations for the farmers. It has initiated watershed management programmes, manufacturing and sale of vermin compost, seed banks and poultry and animal husbandry. It organizes fair-sale stalls and organic farm produce stalls. With constant guidance and scientific knowledge the farmers have multiplied their earning and thus raised their standard of living.
